Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
The Switchboard Company ("Switchboard", "we", "us") builds websites and operates Switchboard OS, software that manages enquiry follow-up for gyms, athletic clubs, and similar local businesses. This policy covers switchboardcompany.com and the Switchboard OS platform.
Two kinds of information
Information about our own visitors and customers. If you contact us through this website, we collect the name, email, phone number, and details you submit, and use them only to reply and to provide our services.
Information we process for our clients. When someone submits an enquiry on a client's website — for example a free day-pass form at a gym — Switchboard OS stores that person's name, email, phone number, and enquiry so the club can respond and follow up. In that role the club is responsible for the information and we act as their service provider, processing it on their instructions. Requests to access or delete such information are handled by the club, and we will assist them promptly.
Text messages and mobile information
Where a person has given a mobile number to one of our clients and agreed to be contacted, Switchboard OS may send text messages on that client's behalf about their enquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to stop messages, or HELP for assistance. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the platform work — hosting, database, email delivery, text-message delivery, and payment processing — and only so they can perform those functions for us. We may also disclose information where required by law.
Security and retention
Information is stored on access-controlled infrastructure and kept for as long as needed to provide the service and maintain accurate records. We delete client data on request when a client ends their service.
Your choices
To access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, or to stop hearing from us, email drewcgolden@gmail.com. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
